Expensive Greeting Cards?!

I have always been a very firm supporter in free printable greeting cards for everyone.

Mull it over ; if you wanted to tell someone in reality that you love them, do you have to pay a third party for it? Yet someone come along ( cough*Hallmark*cough ) and brilliantly realized they could benefit from the standard human need to express love and care toward others. It's sad, but most people just went along with this.

Here we are, many years and billions of bucks later.

The problem is not the greeting cards themselves. The problem's the ticket attached to each greeting card.

Granted, there should be some kind of cost for the paper the cards are revealed on, but here we are in the year 2009, where cards can transcend $5. At this point, it's no longer about providing folk with the words to make claims when they aren't able. That is the reason why I am on a mission the supply the best free printable greeting cards to everyone. First, I hope that you will find cards that really appeal to you and give you lots options than you would find in the store. I know I used to spend lots of time just making an attempt to get a card that was close to what I'd have liked to point out, but finished up having to just agree on one. Having more greeting cards to select between can only incite us all to provide more selection and higher quality.

Second, I hope that the greeting card giants take note that people are getting wiser to their tricks. They should by this time, considering the undoubted fact that both Hallmark and Yank Greetings have experienced big drops in profit in 2008. Why are their profits down? Because folks know now that they can print free greeting cards, rather than going waste their valuable time looking through stores. I hope that if enough people realize they don't need to pay for cards, the costly card giants might stop raising their costs. So if you're making an attempt to find free printable thank you cards or free birthday cards to print, you should look no further.

i've had a reluctance to buying cards since they've become so expensive. i usually send an e card. printable cards are okay, but what about the envelope and stamp? they would be good to use for family members within the household.
